After suffering in the quarterfinal match against Igualada, Barça faced a tall challenge in the semifinals. Intense started the duel, with a full house in the stands of the Municipal Sports Center of Calafell, but with barely three minutes elapsed Pau Bargalló scored the first, taking advantage of a ball hung by Helder Nunes. A bit that did not reduce the euphoria of the fans, nor of the protagonists of the match, especially the Catalans who began their siege of the local goal, forcing a Càndid Ballart to shine, who became the protagonist for his team.

The stops of the Reus goal and the first changes in the squads gave way to greater equalityand some more work for Sergi Fernández, who barely had to appear in the first minutes.

With six to go, a blue from Joao gave a direct free kick to the reusenses who could not take advantage of it, despite the quality detail of Marc Julià, in charge of that shot and shortly after Pau Bargalló had another clear one, but finally the game went at halftime with that 1-0 on the scoreboard.

The second half began with a similar script, although with Barça taking the initiative, dominating the floor in search of increasing the income and trusting peace of mind. With barely ten minutes gone, Compagno sent out a very clear action, practically alone in front of the goalkeeperwhich was born from a great action by Rojas.

The move gave way to a period of alternatives, where both teams had scoring chances that did not materialize. Once again, Càndid Ballart put on his hero’s suit to prevent Edu Castro’s team from definitively deciding the match. Meanwhile, the foul marker was going up, a few minutes from the end. A blue 3′ from the end sent Sergi Aragonés to the bankputting even more spice to that section of the crash. Bargalló tried to stop ball but was met with resistance from Ballart. There was no more and with that meager score the end was reached.

In the other semifinal, Deportivo Liceo signed their ticket to the final after beating Voltregà Stern (1-2) in another intense and tight duel. The team from A Coruña prevailed in the tie thanks to goals from Alex Rodríguez and David Torres, who surpassed Gerard Teixidó’s goal (1-2).

This Sunday, at 12:30 p.m., Barça and Liceo will meet in search of the title.
