When will Formula 1 start? When is the first race of the season and what time is it on which channel?



The excitement in Formula 1, which is seen as the most important motor sports organization in the world, will begin this weekend. There will be 23 races this season. Also, sprint races have been increased to 6. The first race of the season will be held in Bahrain. The Bahrain Grand Prix will be held on the 5,412 meter long Bahrain International Circuit over 57 laps. The qualifying rounds of the race will start on March 4th at 18:00 and the race will start on March 5th at 18:00 CEST. The races will be broadcast on S Sport.

4 TEAMS CONTINUE WITH THE SAME DRIVERS


This season, 4 teams will continue with the same drivers in Formula 1. While last season’s constructors’ champions Red Bull continue with Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez, Ferrari will take part in 2023 with Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz, Mercedes with Lewis Hamilton and George Russell, and Alfa Romeo with Valtteri Bottas and Zhou Guanyu. The other 6 teams changed their pilots one by one. McLaren’s Oscar Piastri, Alpine’s Pierre Gasly, Aston Martin’s Fernando Alonso, Haas’s Nico Hulkenberg, AlphaTauri’s Nyck de Vries and Williams’ Logan Sargeant are new drivers for their teams.

NEWS OF THE SEASON


In the new season, 3 pilots will compete in Formula 1 for the first time in the main squad. This season’s new drivers are Oscar Piastri for McLaren, Logan Sargeant for Williams and Nyck de Vries for AlphaTauri. Nyck de Vries had previously raced for Williams as a replacement for Alex Albon.
Daniel Ricciardo, who was in the main roster of the teams last season, will serve as a reserve driver for Red Bull, while Mick Schumacher will serve as a reserve driver for Mercedes.
