Turnover of the car industry considerably higher in 2022 due to price increases

The turnover of the car and motorcycle industry in the Netherlands rose sharply in 2022, continuing the recovery after the corona crisis. According to the Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS), the increase in turnover was mainly caused by price increases. Prices of new passenger cars, used cars and parts also increased during the year.
