IN THIS ARTICLE, I AM GOING TO SHARE, IN A COLLOQUIAL WRITING, AN OVERVIEW OF THE YEAR 2023 AND ITS ASTROLOGICAL CLIMATES, FOR EACH SIGN, SUN AND ASCENDANT.
WITH THE READING AND INTERPRETATION OF YOUR NATAL LETTER YOU WILL KNOW IN WHICH AREA OF YOUR LIFE THESE ENERGIES WILL PREDOMINATE.
LEARNING ABOUT OUR SOLAR SYSTEM HAS AN EXTRA MAGIC SO YOU CAN PROGRAM YOUR YEAR.
Cosmos, in its most general sense, is synonymous with the universe or world, the set of everything that exists, although it is also used to refer exclusively to the space outside the Earth. The term cosmos also denotes order and organization, it is the universe seen as an ordered or harmonious system.
The planets that make up our solar system revolve in different orbits around the sun. Each one at a different speed and with larger orbits, this means that each day of the year there is a unique combination in the position of the planets. According to each combination, the planets will interrelate their energies causing different effects. Everything will depend if they are very close together, in opposite positions on each side of the Earth, or forming different degrees of angles.
Mercury, Venus, the Sun and the Moon have transits of minor importance since they circulate at a higher speed and their changes are fleeting and constant since they change their positions in a very short time. On the other hand, the most influential planets are the ones that take the longest to turn around the zodiac, affecting their energy for a longer time. Jupiter takes approximately 12 years to complete its orbit, Saturn 29 years, Uranus 84 years, Neptune 164 years, and Pluto 248 years.
This 2023 will be intense, with many changes and planetary movements that make this a pivotal year, a turning point for a great global change that will guide our future.
The year begins with Mars retrograde in Gemini. We will feel that the year will take a while to start, but we will be reevaluating our options before moving forward or deciding anything.
By March, Saturn leaves Aquarius after two and a half years to enter Pisces. Saturn in Aquarius was comfortable, but it fostered a somewhat cold, skeptical, and rational environment, which helped us to reorder ourselves as a society thanks to technology and a general cooling of emotions.
In Pisces we can expect a very different energy, some structures that felt solid will begin to shake, and new ways of building reality will appear. There will be tests in the spiritual, religious and cinematographic field.
Also in March, Pluto will leave Capricorn, where it has been since 2008, and will take its first steps in Aquarius. This is probably the most important entry of the year, and it will mark a shift not only in energy, but in season. Pluto will be in Aquarius until 2044, so it comes to take an important turn for society, for Humanity, very tangible in the new generations, which will be the society of the future.
If Pluto in Capricorn had solid traditional values, which prioritized progress and material stability, now comes a radical turn of which we cannot yet assure the final result, but which brings a total renewal of what we know.
The free expression of being, robotics, science and the search for equality will be promoted, be it in race, gender, class or possibilities, raising reason above passion and emotion. In reality, Pluto still has to return to Capricorn in June when it retrogrades, but these sample months will provide a lot of information about what we can expect from 2024, when Pluto returns to Aquarius to stay.
In addition, in April we premiered the eclipses in the new nodal axis. The eclipses in Taurus and Scorpio will not end until October, with the last lunar eclipse in Taurus. In April we will have the first eclipse of the Sun in Aries that inaugurates the next movements in the Aries Libra axis, which will accompany us during 2023 and 2024. Changes are coming that will boost our individuality, our independence, but without forgetting to generate a climate of harmony and cooperation with those around us.
In turn, Jupiter will enter May in Taurus, slowing down the move towards the new direction we discovered while it was in Aries. However, this apparent pause is only an opportunity to materialize and stabilize our first steps. If we are patient and think carefully about where we want to go, our next harvest will be very abundant!
A year that seems to be unforgettable before it begins.
This is a pearl of 2023.
Saturn in Pisces
On March 7, Saturn ends its passage through Aquarius, where it has been since December 2020, to enter the tides of Pisces where it will remain submerged until 2026.
Saturn is a social planet, its transits have a collective purpose. Saturn structures our laws and norms, the way we organize ourselves to be able to live in society, our traditions, cultural definitions, and the shared beliefs and truths that make up our social reality.
Its transit in Aquarius was the consequence of the triple conjunction of 2020 in Capricorn, in which Saturn participated along with Jupiter and Pluto, when the entire globe collapsed.
Saturn in Aquarius then brought a general cooling of social relationships, prioritizing rationality and the common good over the emotional or affective.
Technology became paramount, as a large part of the world’s population began to work online or in a tech-dependent way. Cash has been less used, in favor of cryptocurrencies and electronic wallets. Home delivery services are still living their golden age, and most of the changes that arose during the crisis continue to be maintained and developed, such as vaccination passports or circulation permits. There is no doubt that Saturn in Aquarius brought a great change that we all undergo to a greater or lesser extent. If in Aquarius we begin to generate a new social structure, in Pisces Saturn prepares us for an end, a change of stage that we all sensed a long time ago.
Pisces is the sign of spirituality, religion, image, music,
the entertainment industry. Pisces also rules the seas and oceans as well as medicines and drugs. Saturn will give shape to what Jupiter made grow in its passage through Pisces. When Saturn is in the sign of Pisces we can see religious, spiritual and faith crises. They will be moments where we will see more of the reality of where we decide to lean on. It will be a stage of crisis for those who proclaim themselves gurus. It will require us to approach spiritual issues in a more mature way.
The film and music industry will also go through a crisis where we may see the closure of some studios in favor of something more independent. The songs that we listen to will have a more realistic tint and a harsher reality. We may see more laws and restrictions concerning drugs. Pisces has to do with vaccines and perhaps during this time we will see more scientific evidence related to the world of medicine.
Medicines more oriented to old age may appear. The times that Saturn was in Pisces we have seen many movements and crises related to faith and religions.
