Finland is going to extend the life of its two oldest nuclear reactors to 70 years. As a result, they can generate electricity until the end of 2050. It concerns the two reactors of Loviisa, together good for a gigawatt of capacity. These are the two oldest Finnish reactors, of Soviet manufacture.
