Expansion of hotel De Wadden on Vlieland is under threat. ‘An apartment complex that could be located anywhere in the Netherlands’

Hotel De Wadden covers four buildings on the Dorpsstraat. There appears to be no catering destination on two of the four buildings. The Board wants to keep it that way for fear of setting a precedent. Previously, the Loods Hotel and Hotelletje De Veerman were not allowed to expand with adjacent plots.
