Europa League winner Eintracht Frankfurt has extended the contract with soccer goalkeeper Jens Grahl.
The 34-year-old should stay until June 30, 2026 and then “remain in another function” at the club, as the Hessians announced.
“He is an important part of the team on and off the pitch and very valuable for the atmosphere in the team,” said sporting director Markus Krösche.
World Cup participant Kevin Trapp is set in the goal of Eintracht Frankfurt.
“We have a great team and a great goalkeeping team,” said reserve goalkeeper Grahl.
