Southampton FC transfer double: Shortly before the transfer window closed, the Saints announced the signings of Kamaldeen Sulemana from Stade Rennes and Paul Onuachu from KRC Genk. The two attacking forces have signed contracts with the Premier League club until 2027 and 2026 respectively, increasing the total value of the squad by 33 million euros.
A transfer fee of 25 million euros is due for Sulemana, which puts him in the top 5 of the record departures in the history of Rennes. Genk meanwhile receives 18 million euros for Onuachu – only with the sale of Sander Berge has one ever received more. Southampton, on the other hand, has only invested more than 25 million euros in its history (in addition to the record additions).
