Fifteen whales stranded in just two months: what’s going on along the US East Coast?

On Monday, a 10-meter-long humpback whale washed up on New York’s Hempstead Beach. It is the 15th dead whale to have washed up on the east coast of the United States in two months. Some environmentalists are pointing the finger of blame at the preparations for the construction of some offshore wind farms in the Atlantic Ocean. Marine biologists deny any connection.
