The insurance companies have already paid out 2 billion euros in compensation for the severe floods that occurred in Belgium in July 2021. Assuralia, the umbrella organization of the insurance sector, reports this on Monday. The total insured loss is expected to amount to approximately EUR 2.4 billion.
