FASHION COUNCIL GERMANY INVITES TO THE FIRESIDECHAT IN DÜSSELDORF

On the occasion of the Düsseldorf Fashion Days, the Fashion Council Germany organized its well-known networking format: the “Firesidechat”. Guests from the local and international fashion scene, business and politics met in the cosmopolitan building of Peek & Cloppenburg* Düsseldorf to celebrate fashion and discuss the future of the industry.

On Thursday evening, the Fashion Council Germany, supported by Peek & Cloppenburg Düsseldorf* and the Düsseldorf Economic Development Agency, invited to a fireside chat as part of the Düsseldorf Fashion Days. The networking event took place in the Düsseldorf store of the fashion retailer Peek & Cloppenburg and offered an intimate setting for networking, exchanging ideas and thinking ahead.

In addition to the new entry of Peek & Cloppenburg Düsseldorf as a member of the Fashion Council Germany in October 2022, the winter edition of the Düsseldorf Fashion Days was also celebrated, which ran from 25.01. until February 1st, 2023 in the state capital of North Rhine-Westphalia. These are one of the most important dates of the year for German and European buyers, have made a name for themselves nationally and internationally with their numerous showrooms and trade fairs and have been expanded to include an exciting program for end consumers for several seasons.

Since 2018, the Fashion Council Germany has regularly brought decision-makers from all over Germany and Europe together with its networking format, the fireside chats, in order to establish networks and encourage the exchange of ideas in an informal atmosphere. In addition to the board of directors of the Fashion Council Germany and Birgit Berthold-Kremser (speaker of the international marketing board, the Peek & Cloppenburg Group Düsseldorf) and Theresa Winkels (Head of Office for Economic Development Düsseldorf), the following guests were present: Andreas Rebbelmund (Managing Director Breuninger Düsseldorf), Angelika Firnrohr (Managing Director of Fashion Net), Angelika Kammann (Founder and Designer Societé Angelique), Ina Köhler (Program Manager AMD Düsseldorf), Jeakyong Sim (Founder and Designer Acceptance Letter Studio), Johnny Talbot (Co-Founder Talbot Runhof), Mirjam Dietz (The Supreme Group), Ljiljana Radlovic (Founder Strike a Pose Festival).

The hosts brought together a wide variety of players from the creative sector and, through the evening together, showed how successful cooperation between creativity, advocacy, journalism, business and politics looks like.
