How is Andras Schäfer (23) doing? The midfielder was absent from team training on Friday in Spain and once again struggled in the weight room.
In the Campoamor training camp he is fighting for a comeback.
On November 3, Schäfer was injured in the European Cup game at Saint-Gilloise (1-0). A day later it turned out: broken metatarsal! Schäfer had to have an operation.
Almost two months later, his mood improves. The Hungarian national player was already on the ball in individual training with rehabilitation trainer Johannes Thienel (30).
Schäfer’s goal: After the team’s return to Germany on Wednesday, he wants to start team training in Berlin.
