Klima-Kleberin lives on donations of 800 euros a month

By Anne Losensky

Dropped out of high school, full-time job as climate gluer. What is her income? Lina E. (20) smiles and says: “I live entirely on donations, from 600 to 800 euros a month!”

Tiergarten District Court. Lina E. in the dock. Grown up in the Ruhr area. Move to Berlin in early 2022: “There are more activities here.”

Since then, the high school dropout has not only been stuck in rush hour traffic on busy Berlin streets. But also on August 25th in the valuable frame of Cranach’s painting “Rest on the Flight into Egypt” from 1504. For them this is the “rebellion of the last generation” in the climate crisis. For those affected, these are criminal offences: coercion of drivers, resistance to law enforcement officials, damage to property that is harmful to the public.

Lina E. says that “over 30 procedures” are being run against her, she has a full folder. She has also been in prison for days, on a hunger strike for twenty days.

Whether it’s chicken shredding, coal excavators, Lützerath, the Hessian forest: “I know I’ll end up in court for this,” she says pathetically. “But who are the real criminals? Governments opening new oil and gas fields! I can’t do anything but fight like this for a long time!”

According to research by “Welt am Sonntag”, a lot of money for the “Last Generation” comes from the “Climate Emergence Fund” in the USA. Paid in by wealthy heirs to assuage their guilt (granddaughter of oil tycoon JP Getty, niece of JF Kennedy).

The account service used by “Last Generation” is funded by the German Ministry of Economics and Climate under Robert Habeck (Greens). Does Lina E. also get her money transferred once a month? Answer: “No, individually.”

In March 2022, she was sentenced to a fine of 600 euros by the Lünen district court (trespassing). Has she already paid for everything? Therefore, the judge sets up two procedures for Berlin street blockades: The ex-high school graduate saves 1,350 euros, that’s it for the day of the trial.

The painting attack will not be heard until March 28, 2023 – with further penal orders. The judge: “Why not put your energy into something productive to make the world a better place?” This is how you do the opposite, piss people off. Think!
