A car burned out in a parking lot at the shopping center on Nobellaan in Assen on Monday evening.
The fire service was alerted to the report around 10 p.m., but could not prevent the car from being severely damaged.
After the fire was extinguished, the area was cordoned off by the police. The fire is under investigation.
