A radiant Suri Cruise was photographed earlier this week at Newark Airport, New Jersey. The 16-year-old was accompanied by her mother, Katie Holmes. Unlike her daughter, she still wore a mouth mask before the flight.
Suri is the daughter of Katie and Tom Cruise. They married in 2006, but separated in 2012. Katie then got full custody of Suri. Since then, the girl has hardly heard or seen her father, according to well-informed sources. Whether Katie has a hand in this out of a fear that Tom will initiate her daughter into his Scientology faith is not clear. Sources also speculate that Tom is simply not interested in his daughter.
Be that as it may, mother and daughter seem to be having a great time just the two of them. In 2019, the actress talked about motherhood in an interview with Elle. “I was so happy that I became a mother in my twenties. It’s so nice that our ages fit. Every age my child has been and the age I was at the time has already turned out to be a good match. We grew up together.”
