Finland won a bunch of medals at the Pole Dance World Championships in Italy

Mandi Koskela won the World Championship gold for the youngest A-juniors. Finland’s national pole dancing team was victorious at the World Pole Dance Championships held in Sassuolo, Italy at the turn of the week. Five gold medals and three silver medals went home. A total of 23 athletes represented Finland in the competition in individual and pairs series. In the competition series for the youngest A-juniors, pole dancer Mandi Koskela from Ranua turned her previous World Championship silver into gold with a top score of 138.832. Based on the previous displays, a gold medal was expected, but in a tight competition, victory was not obvious. In the qualifiers, the difference to the second athlete was less than one point.
