It was a race against time, but we succeeded. In addition to the football quarterfinals, the China Lights Festival in the Rensenpark also kicked off on Friday evening. There was no special opening act or speech. ,,We don’t want to rob anyone of their football night. That’s why we decided: we just turn on the lights and that’s it”, says co-organizer Henk Hiddingh.
