Survey on mobility in Anzegem

Road safety is a thorny issue in the rural municipality. For example, Flemish minister Lydia Peeters is also busy redesigning regional roads and there has been discussion for years about a ring road.

More than a year ago there was a lot of protest in Anzegem. The province eventually opted for a diversion road around Anzegem and not everyone liked that. The municipality now wants to take a different approach and opts for an online survey about the wishes regarding mobility. Themes include quality of life, circulation and parking policy. The current mobility plan dates from 2011 and is therefore due for revision.
