The umpteenth, justified tribute to the man whose early years and whose heart lay in Varkenoord. Against that background, in the derby against Sparta (4-0) the dazzling performance of Orkun Kökcü, who grew up in Feyenoord’s youth academy, was perhaps the most beautiful way in which the 75-year-old player and former coach was honored.
