Carola Morgenstern-Meyer has resigned as President of the German Hockey Association.
The DHB announced this on Monday. Morgenstern-Meyer has held the office since 2019, since 2021 as a dual leader with Henning Fastrich. From now on, Fastrich will head the association alone.
“Unfortunately, in the last few weeks I have no longer felt the unrestricted support for my voluntary work, either in the Federal Committee or in parts of the Presidium. This support is essential, however, in order to bring the association further forward. It is therefore only logical for me to finish my work now,” said Morgenstern-Meyer.
