Concerned mayors Ventilus disappointed: “Confidence is gone”
Bart Dochy, mayor of Ledegem, believes that the report does not answer the mayors’ request to investigate their proposed technique for an underground route. He expects an answer about this tomorrow evening in the meeting with the professor. Most of all, the trust is gone. He understands that it may only be possible above ground, but does not understand that they do not adapt the technology to be able to do it underground.
The next step is the meeting tomorrow evening. On Thursday morning Bart Dochy will take a common position with the other mayors.
