A10 Ostend: car burns out completely

Just before noon, the driver of the car managed to park the car on the hard shoulder about a hundred meters before the Kennedy roundabout along the A10 in Ostend. All passengers were able to get out. They tried to put out the fire themselves, but the fire was too intense.

When the fire brigade of Ostend arrived, the flames were already out of the car. During the extinguishing, traffic along the highway had to pass in one lane. The investigation into the cause of the fire is still ongoing, but it may be due to a technical defect. The car was towed.
