Former Minister of Defense and CD&V celebrity Leo Delcroix has passed away. De Kempenaar became popular when he suspended military service thirty years ago, but saw his political career wane after he tripped over his environmental box. Delcroix died tonight around 8 p.m., his brother Herman confirms. Leo Delcroix turned 72.
