After a long break, André Hazes Jr. is back in the spotlight. He is the umpteenth Dutch celebrity who tries to arouse pity by displaying all his psychological problems and addictions. People are getting tired of it and Özcan Akyol is also completely fed up with André, according to his letter section in the VARA guide.

VARA guide reader Mario Kroeze complains about André to Özcan: “What did André Hazes actually achieve? Why is he in the newspaper? Why am I hearing news about him on the radio? Why is he on television? All kinds of questions that hopefully you can answer.”
Özcan then lashes out at André. “He has a phenomenon as a father. Of course that helps with the attention value. Moreover, he is part of a well-known media family. I get the impression that only that sister is a bit normal, for the rest they are all troubled minds, with a sick need for attention.”

Özcan thinks it’s unbelievable how much attention André and Rachel need. “Everything they do has to be done in public. And apparently there is an audience for that, so I don’t want to be very cynical about it.”
He doesn’t want to bump into those people. “We do look at the programs and the concerts are also popular. Let’s throw it on a chasm.”
