In Stockholm’s Hammarby sjöstad, several shots rang out during the night of October 21. The target was only 19-year-old musician Einár, real name Nils Kurt Erik Einar Grönbergwho was killed by bullets.
So far, no one has been convicted of Einár’s shooting, but police have said they suspect gangs were involved.
Einár himself had a lot of dealings with gang members and had a criminal record.
For the last two weeks of his life, Einár feared for his life. The fear only grew when Einár’s friend was stabbed in Stockholm’s Nosh and Chow restaurant, Einár’s favorite place.

According to information from Aftonbladet, Einár met his friends and other musicians the night before his death, and they made music together until the wee hours of the morning.
After getting home, Einár slept until the evening, until he received a phone call from an acquaintance who wanted to meet. They agreed to meet at Hammarby sjöstad, the bike shed by Einár’s apartment.
At the bike shed, Einária was waiting for two men. Both of the people Einár met have gang connections. Einár had known one for a long time, the other, the caller, was a fairly new acquaintance.
The trio was reportedly messing around in the bike shed.
Two men with guns were waiting for them outside the shed. According to Aftonbladet’s sources, they knew exactly where Einár was.
At 22:49. Einár and his companions stepped out of the bike shed and saw the men waiting outside. Einár knew what was going to happen.
Einár and the man he had known for a long time ran away, they ran in different directions. The third, Einár’s newer acquaintance, for some reason turned back to the bike shed and closed the door behind him.

The shooters also shot at Einár’s acquaintance running towards the sea, but Einár was their primary target. The shooters ran after Einár and fired several shots. Einár ran towards the door, put the key in the lock, but it didn’t work. The step was wrong. Einár turned and tried to run to the right crab, but the snipers caught him and shot Einár execution-style.
The shooters filmed a bloody Einário as proof that the job was done. It is known that the pictures were sent to one or more people who instigated the murder.

When the police and the ambulance arrived, Einár was lying on the ground. He was dead.
The next day, at 00:45, the police confirmed that Einár was dead. He had been hit by two bullets, one in the chest and one in the face. The police described the shooting as pure execution.
The case is still under investigation. In the investigation, more and more clear indications have emerged that the perpetrator or perpetrators are from a certain group. Some people have been investigated in more detail, but no one has been arrested on suspicion of murder.

At the beginning of May, the police interrogated a man who had returned from abroad and who belongs to a gang. His phone had been used to make a Facetime call to another gang criminal just before police were notified of the shooting. Police do not believe he is the shooter, but they do suspect he was involved in the shooting.
According to the prosecutor, the evidence is not enough to arrest the man.
Einár was 19 years old when he died.
