Clear message from the Hertha bosses after the first home win of the season – everyone should continue to go full throttle and just not take off.
The 2-1 win over Schalke can be the key to a more successful season, so manager Fredi Bobic (50) demands: “We have to stay on this path, continue to make small steps forward week after week. We don’t need to celebrate now, we have eleven points. We should keep the ball flat and keep working as hard.”
Looks similar to coach Sandro Schwarz (44). He says: “We are very happy with the win. But we also know that football-wise it wasn’t a treat. You have to say very clearly that we didn’t get any fireworks.”
The coach made that clear to his team. And showed the things he didn’t like in the video compilations. Schwarz: “We attacked the switch and analyzed the positional play. There were a few things that we can and must do better.”
The bottom line is that everyone is simply relieved that despite a not so good performance, there was a win.
Bobic: “I prefer such a tough, dirty work victory to a great draw game for which we get flowers at the end. The victory made me very happy for the boys, it is the reward for their hard work.”
This should be successfully continued on Friday at the hit in Bremen.
