Audit: “Kortrijk cannot submit a written plan for a cyber attack”

Opposition party Flemish Interest is sounding the alarm about this. According to her, the data of the citizen is not at all safe with the Kortrijk city council. The ships say this is absolutely not the case.

The audit of the camera and IT systems has recently been completed. Nine of the defects have a higher risk. In any case, Kortrijk collects a lot of data from residents and visitors to the city in order to respond to this, for example as a shopping city. All that data could also be hacked. The city says this can only be done from the inside. According to the audit, Kortrijk cannot submit a written plan in the event of a cyber attack.
