The Parent Panel Childcare Allowance has a new chairman to succeed outgoing chairman Arre Zuurmond: Michiel Grauss. Grauss is a former alderman in Rotterdam, whose portfolio includes help for victims of parents, poverty alleviation, debt management and informal care. The selection and appointment was made in consultation with the parents from the parent panel. The chairman was officially appointed on October 18, 2022, with retroactive effect from September 21, 2022.
