Lewandowski sinks the “Yellow Submarine”

World footballer Robert Lewandowski has put FC Barcelona back on the road to success after the defeat in the Clasico.

The Pole scored the first two goals in the 3-0 (3-0) win in La Liga against Villarreal on Thursday after two outstanding individual actions. After ten games, Barca are second on 25 points, three points behind arch-rivals Real Madrid. The “Yellow Submarine” from Villarreal is ninth with 18 points.

After Lewandowski (31st/35th), who was awarded the Gerd Müller Trophy for the best attacker of the past season on Monday, young star Ansu Fati (38th) made an early preliminary decision in front of 73,261 spectators at the Camp Nou. On Sunday, the 26-time champion lost the 185th Clasico against Real 3-1 and had to give up the lead in the table to the royal team.

Lewandowski took the lead when, after a sharp cross, he used a heel trick to let two defenders slide into space and easily slotted in. Just four minutes later, the former Bayern star moved in from the left and curled the ball from 18 meters into the right corner, it was his 16th goal of the season in all competitions and the eleventh in the league.
