Berlin’s top striker
In 2019, Sheraldo Becker switched to Union Berlin. Since then, the attacker has continuously improved his goal tally in the Bundesliga. While he wasn’t able to score a goal in his first season, it was three, four in the following years and the 27-year-old currently has six, which puts him in fourth place in the Bundesliga’s top scorer list. This constant development has not gone unnoticed by the competition and Becker himself can also imagine changing clubs again in the future.
“Of course I’m a man with ambitions, and the club knows that too,” said Becker, who is still committed until 2025, in an interview with “Voetbal International“. Accordingly, the amount of the exit clause for him is limited. “Of course it’s not the highest, because I’m 27, so I’m not the youngest anymore.” The right-winger came to Berlin more than three years ago on a free transfer from ADO Den Haag.
Becker, who was one of the big winners in the latest market value update when his market value was increased from 7 to 15 million euros, also commented on possible targets. “My dream is no longer the Eredivisie, that’s over.” This is also not realistic, since only Ajax Amsterdam or PSV Eindhoven could pay him. He would “think about it, but that’s not the most important thing.”

Becker, who Feyenoord inquired about in the summer of 2021 before canceling, had been trained in the youth of Amsterdam, but he didn’t make the breakthrough there and he’s not “working” on being signed again at Ajax. Rather, “German or English top executives would also be nice”.
