British shoe retailer Dr. Martens is releasing a capsule featuring iconic punk band The Clash.
Band members of the London band wore the brand’s boots during their performances between 1976 and 1986. Some 40 years later, a separate collection will be dedicated to the musicians, shared Dr. Martens on Wednesday with.
The capsule consists of four models, all decorated with the band’s star logo. These include two black styles, a boot and a flat, available exclusively from the online store and fashion retailer Dover Street Market.
There are also two models in Arcadia, a high-shine leather with a base color and a contrasting top coat. The top coat rubs down over time and when pog on the dance floor and the underlying color is revealed. The colors of the two models differ: the boot comes in military green and the flat version in cherry red. The Arcadia couples are inspired by the album ‘Sandinista’.
As an extra, all capsule models come with ‘Dog Tags’ charms inspired by the necklaces worn by the band.
The ‘Dr. Martens x The Clash’ capsule will be available on October 6th.
