Practice match football players Orange against Zambia in NAC stadium has been canceled

The practice match that the Dutch football players would play against Zambia in the NAC stadium in Breda on Thursday is cancelled. The KNVB says that the Zambian team cannot travel to the Netherlands due to visa problems. Fans who have bought a ticket for the match will receive a personal message from the KNVB about the refund of their ticket.

The Orange squad qualified for next year’s World Cup on September 6. Immediately afterwards, an opponent was sought for a duel in the international match period in October. “We looked at the availability, level and playing style of possible opponents, after which Zambia was contacted,” the KNVB reported.

On Monday it turned out that the match in Breda will not take place because ‘the visa procedure took longer than originally thought’. The KNVB reports that all the efforts of the Zambian football association and the ministries involved have not helped.
