Pixies are going on a European tour next year. Among other things, they are coming to Germany for three concerts in February: Berlin, Hamburg and Munich. Their eighth studio record “Doggerel” will be released on September 30th.
Advance sales for the European tour start on Thursday, September 29th at 9am Eventim. From September 30th at 9 a.m., the tickets will also be available at all known CTS pre-sale points and on the hotline 01806 – 570070 (€0.20/call from a landline, mobile max. €0.60/call) and on fkpscorpio.com available. The tickets cost around 46.00 euros – the specific tour dates can be found below.
“Doggerel” combines spooky folk, ballroom pop and brutal rock. “We always try to make very big and bold and orchestral music – and not necessarily without finesse, complexity and nuance,” says singer Black Francis. In June, August and September they released three forerunners of the upcoming album: “Dregs of the Wine”, “Vault of Heaven” and “There’s A Moon On”.
