We are going to read many inaccuracies, and even errors, about Italy. The truth is that the extreme right (El Corriere’ and La Stampa’ call it center-right) it has won the elections with a large absolute majority. The second thing is that -contrary to many headlines- there has not been a great citizen turnaround, but simply that the new electoral system -inspired by Berlusconi and approved by Renzi (left) to guarantee majorities- has caused a radical change in the parliamentary forces.
