Maes brothers are getting ready for the Triathlon World Cup

After three years of absence, the best triathletes in the world are once again competing for the highest honors. The age groupers, ie non-professional triathletes, also include two brothers, Reinout and Elewout Maes from Vichte.

Swim in the Pacific Ocean, cycle among the lava fields and walk in the heat of the afternoon. Hawaii is a tough one because of the circumstances alone. “Triathlon is a lifestyle. The sacrifices are heavy, the impact on your life is great, but the satisfaction afterwards can be too,” the brothers explain.
