Füchse Berlin remain undefeated in the Handball Bundesliga. On Thursday evening, in front of 6421 spectators in the Max-Schmeling-Halle, the Berliners clearly defeated newly promoted ASV Hamm-Westfalen with 37:26 (19:13).

At least until Saturday, the foxes regained the top of the table. The best Berlin throwers were Hans Lindberg and Lasse Andersson with six goals each.

Coach Jaron Siewert initially left some regulars out at the start of the game. His team initially struggled to find the rhythm. After four and a half minutes, the hosts were even 2:4 behind. But then they woke up, were better defensively and keeper Dejan Milosavljev was able to fend off a few balls.

The foxes took advantage of this phase and were able to pull away for the first time with an 8:0 run (10:4). Now the Berliners had everything under control, punished the mistakes of the guests and temporarily increased the lead to seven goals (16:9).

However, they missed it even before the break, because they missed some open throws.

Even after the change of sides, the hosts determined the game without shining. Because there were still lack of concentration in the final. But after 48 minutes the lead was double digits for the first time (30:20).

Now the foxes played it down to the end against tired guests and were even able to conserve some strength.
