Well, who came to the service in London?
At the funeral service for Queen Elizabeth († 96) in Westminster Abbey on Monday, family members, heads of state and royals from all over the world mourned the queen. But one guest was a real surprise: “Grey’s Anatomy” star Sandra Oh (51).
A series star at the highly official farewell to the Queen? Yes, with good reason!

The actress was not a secret friend of the deceased, but is a member of the Canadian delegation that accompanied Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau (50) to London.
Since June 2022, Sandra Oh has been the proud recipient of the “Order of Canada” as an “Officer”. It is the second highest civilian award in the Commonwealth country of which the Queen was Head of State. According to the BBC, Oh was awarded the medal for her “performing career filled with memorable stage, television and film roles in Canada and abroad.”
After all: In her decades-long career, Sandra Oh has won two Golden Globes and four SAG Awards, has been nominated for 13 Primetime Emmys and was named one of the 100 most influential people in the world by “Time Magazine”.
Along with her colleagues from the Canadian delegation, including musician Gregory Charles (54) and swimmer Mark Tewksbury (54), she appeared all in black and proudly wore her Canadian badge.
