North Korean leader Kim Jong-un has opened a multi-day meeting of the ruling Workers’ Party to discuss “strategic and tactical policies”. The meeting, which could last up to four days, is expected to discuss the US government’s invitation to renegotiate North Korea’s nuclear arsenal.
