The trainer
Sascha Glass has been in charge of the sidelines since January 2020. The coach is quite successful. He led the FC women into the federal government and managed to stay up. In August last year he extended his contract long-term until 2025. “We want to establish Cologne as a location in the Bundesliga”he explained his goals for the coming years in an interview with dfb.de.
Before FC, his path in women’s football had already led him to Wolfsburg and SC Sand. However, Glass’s coaching career began with the B-Juniors of 1.FFC Frankfurt (today: Eintracht Frankfurt Frauen), where he was responsible on the sidelines from 2012 to 2013.
