British Prime Minister Boris Johnson will tender his resignation to Queen Elizabeth today. Shortly thereafter, he will receive and appoint Liz Truss as the new Prime Minister. The Queen normally receives the new head of government at Buckingham Palace, but this time Elizabeth will remain in Scotland for health reasons. Johnson and Truss therefore travel to her estate Balmoral Castle.
