Ukraine expects to be ready for EU accession negotiations with Brussels this year. These could then start at the beginning of next year, said Ukrainian Prime Minister Denis Shmihal this afternoon after consultations in Brussels with EU foreign affairs chief Josep Borrell and enlargement commissioner Olivér Várhelyi.
