Cees Bol finally has his first victory of the season. The cyclist sprinted to victory in the second stage of the Tour of Great Britain.
A finish photo had to be taken to determine who was the fastest in Duns. Bol stayed in the wheel of the Jake Stewart for a long time. In the end he managed to finish just ahead of the Briton. Corbin Strong finished third. The New Zealander will remain in the leader’s jersey.
Bol’s last stage victory was in March 2021. Then he won a stage in Paris-Nice.
