Canada is celebrating for the second time in a row at the Women’s Ice Hockey World Cup.

Canada has won the women’s ice hockey World Cup gold. Canada defeated the United States 2–1 in the final.
The hero of the Canadians was the one who scored two goals Brianna Jenner. Played with the golden team’s goal Ann-Renee Desbiens saved 20 times and made big saves especially in the third set.
The opening set of the match was scoreless, but midway through the second set, Jenner shot the puck into the USA goal from a small angle.
Jenner succeeded again just over a minute later with a power play and gave Canada a 2-0 lead.
The United States only took the lead at the very end of the second period Abby Roque with a man-of-the-match goal.
At the end of the match, the USA got a few more quality goals, but Desbiens and Canada held their own. Desbiens made a great save right at the end of the match.
Canada was thus able to celebrate its second consecutive world championship.
Earlier on Sunday, the Czech Republic won the World Cup bronze. The Czech Republic defeated Switzerland 4–2 in the bronze medal match.
