She was one of the funniest and most sympathetic characters from ‘Own breeding’, so it should come as no surprise that Chantal (played by Maaike Cafmeyer) was assigned her own fiction series by the VRT. The cannabis-growing family Welvaert is nowhere to be seen this time, but ‘Chantal’ is also full of hilarious secondary characters. But whether that is enough to make you forget ‘home-grown’?
