In the constant wooing for promising talents, the Bundesliga soccer club FC Bayern has apparently received a basket from HSV jewel Farid Alfa-Ruprecht.
As the transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reports, Farid Alfa-Ruprecht is moving from Hamburger SV to the Premier League to Manchester City. Accordingly, the deal is already sealed. Details about the amount of the transfer or the training compensation or the contract period are not known.
According to Romano, team manager Pep Guardiola’s club prevailed against well-known competition in poker for Alfa-Ruprecht. FC Bayern Munich and league competitor FC Chelsea are also said to have put out feelers for the 16-year-old winger.
At Manchester City, Alfa-Ruprecht is initially planned for the U18 team. But the youngster is believed to be able to assert himself among the professionals in the future, according to Romano.
Alfa-Ruprecht comes from the youth of Hamburger SV. For the Rothosen, the attacker, who is mostly used on the left wing, recently played with the B-Jugend in the U17 Bundesliga North/Northeast. Last season there were five games and two goals.
Alfa-Ruprecht has also made two appearances in Germany’s U16 national team. However, he has yet to score a goal.
