Glen Kamara continues in the shirt of Glasgow Rangers

Glen Kamara is the Finnish name for the closing day of the transfer window.

The Rangers midfielder’s name mysteriously appeared on Ligue 1 club Nice’s website as a member of the team.

According to the Scottish newspapers, the player’s representatives were on the Riviera on Thursday to sign a contract with Britain’s richest man, Sir by Jim Ratcliffewith the club he owns.

Nice had already acquired the neighboring club from Monaco Sofiane Diop in a deal worth around £20 million, the Danish club from Leicester Kasper SchmeichelArsenal loan Nicholas Pépé and who played in Rangers last spring Aaron Ramsey’s.

The Welshman would have acted as a guide for his former teammate if the clubs had reached an agreement on a deal worth no less than 10 million pounds.

Rangers would then have made a huge deal with the Finn, because they acquired Kamara from Dundee for only £50,000 in 2019.

However, the deal was not confirmed until the French league transfer window closed on the night before Friday. So the 26-year-old Finn will be able to debut in the Champions League with Rangers.

Kamara still has three years left on his contract with the Scottish club.
