The German faction at the Italian first division club Genoa CFC is growing: As expected, midfielder Nadiem Amiri is moving from Bayer 04 Leverkusen to the “Grifoni”, who announced the loan transfer on Saturday afternoon. According to the announcement, a purchase obligation applies from certain sporting points of view – most recently it was said in the event of relegation. This is reportedly around 9 million euros.
With a market value of 11 million euros, Amiri is the most valuable new signing for the Ligurians since striker Andrea Pinamonti (13.5 million) in September 2020. The three-time international is seventh in the overall ranking.
