Modern, minimalist, timeless and sustainable – the latest launch of the Californian label Allbirds once again represents a groundbreaking innovation in the fashion industry and is at the same time the perfect expansion of the previous portfolio: The new Plant Pacer offers a modern, more sustainable alternative to the classic court sneaker.
The lines and silhouette of the Plant Pacer are inspired by the shapes and curves of nature. The wavy design of the midsole, the outstanding, refined details, the unique pattern of the sole and the classic stitching stand out in their shape and as a whole become a modern, innovative and contemporary shoe.
The absolute innovation of the new Pacer: the plant-based and vegan leather developed in cooperation with Natural Fiber Welding (NFW), which is 100% plastic-free, represents a real new material as a sustainable alternative to leather in the shoe industry. Plant leather is made exclusively from natural materials such as rubber, vegetable oils, rice husks and citrus peels. The vegetable leather opens up a new material category for Allbirds and enables the label to take another step towards minimalist, modern lifestyle sneakers.
