A great evening for the promise teams of AZ and Ajax. Jong AZ also won the third game of the season, this time against Almere City 3-2. And Jong Ajax crushed De Graafschap at home with 5-1.

Former Ajax player Siem de Jong was in the base for the Achterhoekers. That also applied to former Young Ajax players Rio Hillen and Robin Schouten.
