Plane collides with bird at Eindhoven Airport, air traffic released

A Wizzair plane interrupted the take-off procedure at Eindhoven Airport on Sunday evening after it collided with a bird during take-off. The plane then had to brake fully. All passengers have now been safely off the plane. Air traffic at the airport has since been reopened.

Several ambulances and fire trucks were present at the airport to provide assistance. They didn’t have to act.

Wizzair’s plane was on its way to Budapest. While braking, the aircraft suffered two blowout tires. The device is towed.

A Transavia plane that came from Valencia has made a go-around and has landed at Rotterdam Airport.

In the vicinity of the airport in Eindhoven, a few planes circled for a long time to be able to land.

According to a spokesperson, Eindhoven Airport can again fly according to the schedule.
